Stops accepting input, releases the connector, flushes parser EOF, and synchronously publishes the last requested viewport, including synchronized output. Publication waits for active frame-copy callbacks and available render buffers; do not call from a render-reader or leased-cache callback.

The first termination owns cleanup and its event is retained. Concurrent or reentrant calls return without waiting; observe state for completed cleanup. Every cleanup is attempted. Local cleanup failures are rethrown with later failures suppressed; failure-triggered cleanup adds them to the original cause.
