tryResizeViewport
Attempts the same terminal reflow as resizeViewport.
Returns null when closure wins admission. Terminal state and the connector then remain unchanged. Presentation owners can continue to read retained frames. Invalid dimensions fail validation first. Other failures propagate to the caller. An admitted resize requests render publication even if a collaborator fails afterward.
Calls serialize with terminal mutation. An admitted core resize can finish during closure. Connector resize and disposal share a separate lock. Closure prevents new connector resize calls. Call off UI threads: this synchronous method can wait for decoding or block in the connector.
Return
the complete resize anchor, or null if closure has begun.
Parameters
terminal column count; at least TerminalBuffers.MIN_WIDTH.
positive terminal row count.
whole-row offset above the live screen, or zero.
Atomically resizes the grid and records its text-area pixel dimensions.
pixelWidth and pixelHeight exclude host padding and chrome; zero in either dimension marks both as unknown. Mode 2048 reports are admitted to the ordered writer only after connector resize succeeds. Other admission, anchoring, and failure rules are those of the cell-only tryResizeViewport overload.
