Creates a range in the current binding and layout without changing selection.
Use absolute retained rows and half-open cell edges, as defined by TerminalSelectionRange. Both endpoint rows must remain retained. Returns null for unavailable bindings, pending layout changes, or coordinates beyond current bounds. Empty ranges are valid and clear selection when applied. This reads metadata only; it does not scroll, focus, or send input.
Throws
