search

Schedules a cancellable background search (literal by default). This does not wait for results.

The search covers retained scrollback plus the live grid snapshot exposed through the bound session's render-frame reader. Hosts own any visible search UI and call this method when their query changes. Observe searchState for completion or failure. Results are refreshed in completed passes while output continues, not an atomic snapshot of all history.
